Commerce · CEBA
A CEBA PU college in Bangalore, with Computer Science and commerce.
CEBA is Computer Science, Economics, Business Studies and Accountancy. At Presidency PU College Hebbal it is commerce for the student who likes computers. CEBA or SEBA? The difference is one subject, explained below.
Subjects
What your child studies.
Computer Science, Economics, Business Studies, Accountancy, with English and a second language. Two years, 1st PUC and 2nd PUC, ending in the II PU board exam of 600 marks.

Business Studies

Is it right?
Who CEBA is for.
And who should look at a different combination. We would rather say so now.
It suits a student who
- Your child likes computers and wants them next to commerce.
- Your child is thinking of BCA, B.Com or BBA and wants Computer Science on the record.
- Your child wants Economics but not Basic Maths.
It is not for a student who
- Your child wants Statistics or Basic Maths as a subject: that is SEBA or MSBA.
- Your child needs a commerce course with no practical work: Computer Science has lab sessions.
After 2nd PUC
What it leads to.
The routes this combination opens. Entry rules sit with each body, so check them for your child's year.

What is CEBA in PUC?
CEBA is a Karnataka PU commerce combination of Computer Science, Economics, Business Studies and Accountancy, with English and a second language.
CEBA or SEBA: what is the difference?
One subject. CEBA has Computer Science and SEBA has Statistics. Computer Science is for the student who likes computers; Statistics is for the student who likes working with data. Economics, Business Studies and Accountancy are common to both.
Does CEBA have Maths?
No Basic Maths subject. Computer Science involves logic, but the numbers load is lighter than MSBA.
Is CEBA good for CA?
CA needs a Class 12 pass in any stream, so CEBA keeps it open. Our CA Foundation classes are paired with MSBA; ask admissions whether CEBA students can join them.
Is there a computer lab for CEBA?
Yes. The college has computer labs, mentioned in its own day-in-the-life posts. Visit to see them.
What are the fees for CEBA?
Fees for 2027-28 are not on this page. Ask admissions for the written fee sheet on 96204 84333 or on WhatsApp.
