Where PCMB leads.
NEET and KCET preparation can sit inside the same timetable as the board syllabus. That is the Integrated programme, led by Mr P. Sreedhar Babu, Head of the Integrated Programme. The college's 2027-28 admissions posts list the PCMB options as NEET, NEET + CET or CET.

- For MBBS, BDS, BAMS and BHMS. NEET needs Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
- KCET
- For engineering and other professional courses in Karnataka. Biology is not needed, Maths is.
- JEE Main
- Open to PCMB students too, because Maths is in the combination.
- B.Sc. and allied health courses
- Life sciences, nursing, pharmacy and other degree courses that ask for Biology.
What we have published
- NEET 2026: 35 of our students appeared and 21 qualified. 4 took MBBS seats and 3 took BDS, BAMS or BHMS seats.
- 4 of the 10 Science toppers the college listed for 2025-26 took PCMB.

What is PCMB?
PCMB is the Science combination of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology, taught over 1st PUC and 2nd PUC under the Karnataka Department of Pre-University Education. Students also study English and one more language.
What can I do after PCMB?
PCMB keeps both doors open. With Biology you can write NEET UG for MBBS, BDS, BAMS and BHMS. With Maths you can write KCET and JEE Main for engineering. Life sciences, nursing and pharmacy degrees also ask for Biology.
Can a PCMB student write JEE Main?
Yes. The JEE Main information bulletin from the National Testing Agency asks for Physics and Mathematics plus one of Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology. PCMB covers that.
Is NEET coaching part of the PCMB timetable?
It can be. The Integrated programme puts NEET or NEET + CET preparation into the same timetable. Ask admissions which option suits your child, and which teachers take it.
How many students from Presidency PU Hebbal qualified for NEET?
In 2026 the college published that 35 students appeared and 21 qualified, with 4 MBBS seats and 3 BDS, BAMS or BHMS seats. We have not published earlier years yet.
